As a Shorewood resident and an educator and administrator in K-12 and higher education settings, I truly understand the importance of maintaining the tradition of excellence that is a hallmark of Shorewood Schools. I am committed to a more equitable educational environment for all of our students.

In my leadership positions I have handled many crises. I will not be surprised by the complexities and legal issues that are part of addressing and resolving conflicts and crises that come to the School Board. I have the sensitivity and empathy needed to deal with unforeseen and complex issues. Additionally, my years teaching and studying educational legal issues have provided me with the perspectives and understanding needed in developing responses to emergencies.
